A lot of you have been wondering just who are your fellow members. We get a lot of questions about how many members are in a specific state or country, so we want to make a map showing the numbers of members in different areas.

In order to gain a better sense of the LWA Community, we created a free OPTIONAL download that lets you fill-in any info about you that you would like us to know. This info will be kept between members and will only be used to let us all know who we share our love of letters with. Let me repeat this: This info will be kept only between members and WILL NOT be used for anything evil.

Do you have an awesome pen pal that you think deserves some postal appreciation? Nominate them for the official Letter Writers Alliance Perfect Pen Pal Award. Unlike our Pen Pal Award badge, this award cannot be purchased; it can only be awarded by LWA HQ.

Good pen pals are hard to find, so give them the recognition they deserve. Download, print and mail in this form to let us know why your pen pal is a Perfect Pen Pal. Remind yourself to write a letter everyday with the official LWA member perpetual calendar. We have two version available: one with just date and month cards and another with date, months, and days. It just depends on what kind of organizer you are. The version with just the dates and days includes the LWA crest.

This is some advanced paper sculpture, and we admit the directions can make one go crossed-eyed, so it may be best to just look at the diagram and construct from that.

Have a little fun with your pen pal by sending them this joke application form. Especially useful for when you have been a little...slow responding to a letter (or letters). This tongue in cheek form will put a smile on their face and have them forgiving your slow response rate in seconds.

Use these bright colored labels on your envelopes, box of received letters or on your cat. No, not on your cat, you'll lose an eye. Cut out with an xacto knife or scissors. But be careful, we wouldn't want you to lose the other eye too.
